Evangelist Elijah [Elie] Kiogou

Evangelist Elijah [Elie] Kiogou is a servant of Jesus Christ, called to proclaim the Gospel and prepare people for the return of the Lord. His life reflects a journey from ordinary beginnings to a divine calling shaped by faith, obedience, and the power of the Holy Spirit.

Born on January 18, 1971, in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, Evangelist Kiogou grew up in Koumassi, a southern district of the capital city. Raised in a household where Christianity was not practiced, his early life was focused on education and everyday activities, including school and playing soccer.

A Life-Changing Encounter with God

While pursuing his master’s studies at the University of Abidjan Cocody in 1995, Evangelist Kiogou experienced a powerful spiritual encounter following a mysterious illness. Through prayer, he was healed, filled with the Holy Spirit, and his life was forever transformed. From that moment, his devotion to God and hunger for His Word became central to his life.

Education, Family, and Faith

In October 2000, Evangelist Kiogou moved to the United States after winning the Visa Lottery. He continued his education and later earned a PhD in Health Informatics. He is married to his wife Lydia Kiogou, and together they are blessed with four children: Joseph, Miriam, Elizabeth, and John.

Called to Serve

Over time, God confirmed his calling through prayer, revelation, and prophetic affirmation. He now identifies as Evangelist Elijah Kiogou, not by title alone, but by divine calling. His ministry focuses on repentance toward God, faith in Jesus Christ, and preparation for the Lord’s return.

Evangelist Elijah Kiogou continues to serve faithfully, preaching the Gospel, reaching communities, and pointing lives to Jesus Christ.
